IHN Award and Medal 2018

Call for nominations: IHN Award and Medal for 2018  (deadline 28 February 2018)

The (Executive) Board of the International Haemovigilance Network (IHN) is pleased to call for nominations for the IHN Award and IHN Medal for 2018.

The IHN decorations will be presented at the closure of the official scientific programme of the forthcoming International Haemovigilance Seminar to be held in Manchester in July 2018.

 

 

 IHN Award
 The award is presented to a person or organization who/that has made an important scientific or clinical contribution to the advancement of
haemovigilance.  The award now consists of a certificate and a trophy.  It was originally established in 2010 after a generous gift of
Prof. Dr. Erhard Seifried.  It is presented at the International Haemovigilance Seminar (IHS), at which the awardee delivers a plenary
presentation.

 

 

 

 

 

 IHN Medal

Since 2011 a special medal (showing a lion as the symbol for vigilance) is granted to a person who has made an extraordinary
contribution to the work of IHN.

 

 

 

 

Nominations for the IHN Award should outline how the candidate has made an important contribution to the advancement of haemovigilance, and be accompanied by a current CV and list of publications.

Nominations for the IHN Medal should outline how the candidate has made an important contribution to the work of IHN.

Nominations may be submitted to the IHN Secretary (secretary@ihn-org.com) before 28 February 2018.
